Julie W. Tran
Hey, my name is Julie W. Tran and this is my portfolio. Hello, my name's Julie W. Tran and I am an author. My family and I enjoy spending time with each other. We enjoy having friends over and playing with makeup games. One of our favorite games is logic. https://riddlesbest.com/ is an online platform which helps children and parents to develop their thinking abilities. Solve riddles, solve puzzles and learn to think through games! Writing is something I love. It all started long back. I was barely three years old when I started. As a little girl I was playing with my toys and I had no idea what present fate (represented by my mother) was in store for me. One spring day, my mother had a revelation that her daughter was old enough to become acquainted with the written alphabet. We got familiar with each other, me and the letters. They were printed then, big, angular and extremely wrong. However, their purpose was clear! My parents were not happy with my new activity. However, they couldn't keep on top of it and not stop it. They were forced to wait until I was bored of writing on the walls and wanted to write letters to my grandmother. And soon it did happen. At the age of an adult, and only four at the time, I wrote to my grandmother on a weekly basis, and at the same time when I was taking charge of the education of my younger brother. Unfortunately, he was a tech-savvy person and not interested in my study of calligraphy since his primary purpose was as a designer... All of these are memories. But they are precious since it was how I began my connection with the world. Since then, I have felt the urge to write about what I saw and heard, as well as what my thoughts and dreams were. When I was a teen, I learned that everyone sees the world in a different way as I do. That means you have to try to show what you saw. This is where poetry started. I utilized four languages to write lines about any topic that showed a variety of human feelings. I honed my skills diligently however, unlike my colleagues who were also engaged in rhyming I could not understand the concept. I'm not sure of the dimensions of poetry. While I'm not aware of the dimensions of poetry, in reality I can fit into them.
